Welcome to Akihabara, a firm favorite with his subtle but interesting coloring.
Red, mustard yellow and muted olive and brown stand out on a cream background, with no color dominating. I really enjoy the effect. I was drawn to it in the ball, and knitted up, I like it even better.
I'd really, really love a skein of this. It reminds me a bit of Robot Overlord, but better.
I would want it for gloves or long wristers, but I could also see this working very well as a scarf or cowl, if the coloring suits you.
For the hexi-quilt, I'm going with side A, although I like side B a lot, too.
